Vega wants to be near him at all times. I'm just trying to keep her from grooming/licking him!
I know most of you have seen him on my facebook, but I wanted to share the good news and reason I'm a little delayed on my email responses. The dogs are so interested in Graham and have taken on motherly duties (as they did when Cole was a baby) such as making sure I know when he's crying (I don't need help here!) and sleeping by his crib.
I love this breed of dogs so much! They are the ultimate family dogs! Cole learned to walk holding on to Stella. :)
It has definitely been a long time coming but the wait is finally over for Portia came into heat this morning! We will be taking Portia to Brittmoore Veterinary Hospital, in Houston, where she will stay until she is surgically inseminated. We are very excited to share this journey with each and every one of you but especially those of you who have been patiently waiting for a Portia/Obi puppy, Please stay tuned for the next generation of the Stellar Doberman Family.
You won't even believe the drama that's transpired this week in regards to breeding Vega! The good and bad news is that we are skipping this heat cycle. I will send emails to those of you at the top of the wait list or those who specified Vega puppies. Just wanted to let everyone know it will be another 6-7 months for Vega babies. It is a good decision to wait although I'm disappointed about not having babies in our house in a few weeks; we just want the best babies for you.
Portia is expected to come into hear very soon and will still be bred to Obi, as planned, so we will still have Spring babies.
I wish I could say that I was patient, but I can't! I've been so excited about Vega babies for so long that I couldn't stand it. Haha. She just started bleeding tonight. Woo hoo!!!!!! Now let's get Portia on board too and get you guys your babies you've been waiting so patiently for! :)
Welcome to the Stellar Community!
We love to share stories and pictures of our puppies from birth to after they join their new homes. It is so much fun to follow the puppy's litter mates. Feel free to comment, ask questions, or email me to create a post for you!
