Well what do you know! Red boy found Sable's bumble bee collar right after I bough a new one! Typical right?
Yellow sister has a name!!!! It might change when she gets home, but Betty has decided to give her baby Sable. Such a beautiful and fitting name for such a special and stunning girl! I bought Sable one more yellow collar (her last one!!!) . Let's hope she can keep this one on her. I suspect little Georgia or the poodle of popping the others off. Believe it or not, yellow dog collars are quite difficult to find (as are white- of course). I have had to use yellow cat collars since the puppies outgrew their litterbands, and the breakaway feature has proven very effective.
Red boy just weighed in at 18 pounds 4 ounces! Yellow is 18 pounds 9.5 ounces, White is 17 pounds 10 ounces, and Vega is 18 pounds 8 ounces.
After talking with Danica's mom yesterday, I just sat down and thought about how amazing our puppies and their owners are. Danica's mom is a dog groomer and trainer and will start Danica in training to become a PTSD service dog to help others. Castiel, a puppy from the last litter, is also in training to become a service dog and is learning to do chest compression that will save his owner's life. Several of our puppies became unofficial personal therapy dogs to help their owners deal with loss, anxiety, and depression. Achilles has started Search and Rescue training that will hopefully bring joy or peace to more families also. A majority of our pups are in families with babies, small children, and/or small dogs. I'm so fortunate to be a part of this, and be a positive part of others' lives. Stellar Dobe Pups and Families are THE BEST!

Welcome to the Stellar Community!
We love to share stories and pictures of our puppies from birth to after they join their new homes. It is so much fun to follow the puppy's litter mates. Feel free to comment, ask questions, or email me to create a post for you! Archives
