I'm going to be a part of developing a new study that looks at the relationship of a dog's impact on military connected children with Pfizer and Tufts University. My work world and my love of dogs finally coming together!!! We are going to study the impact of owning a dog has on military families on reintegration, PTSD, etc. Three of my top favs in life colliding- research, military families, and dogs!!!!!

It sounds like this was made for you. Good luck with it Stacey, although I'm sure you will do very well and make great discoveries that will help a lot of people and dogs.

Thanks, guys! We all know, as dog lovers, the enormous benefits of having a dog to love on. Even more so for our military-connected kids who move, on average, 9-12 times in their school careers. I thought you all would like to hear about one of my new projects! Our meeting with Pfizer on Friday was cancelled due to blizzards. Boo! I'll keep everyone in the loop.
