Jada- 45 pounds!

Orange sister Jada weighed in at 45 pounds this week at her vet's office.  I asked Theresa the key to keeping her dobies nice and beefy and healthy.

Theresa adds Tripett as a supplement to her dog's high quality dry food.  It has been known to help dogs with picky appetites.  Tripe is what wild carnivores eat first- they do not go to the meaty thigh first but rather the innards.  Tripett has a pretty funky smell, but I hear the benefits are amazing.

Jada and Ruger eat two huge bowls of dry food with a little Tripett mixed a day. I saw where you get free shipping for over $50 and an additional 15% off at DoggieFood.com or click here!

I have tried different canned tripe brands but the Green Beef Tripett brand seems to be what my pups really prefer the best. It comes in a more solid form in the can and it is not so watery which is what I encountered with other brands. The Tripett brand also has Lamb Tripett, Beef and Venison Tripett, and a Beef,Duck and Salmon Tripett mixture as well. On occasion, I buy the fresh frozen beef tripe and thaw it out first and mix it with their kibble and they like that even more. I had a picture of little Jada trying to pull the whole two pound roll off the counter as I was trying to portion it out. If you don't have a store near you where you can try your dog on fresh frozen tripe, you can always order the fresh frozen tripe off their website - http://greentripe.com. I have read in the Whole Dog Journal that tripe is known as the "longevity food" and anything that will help my dogs live a longer quality of life, I want to know about. I don't own any stock in any of the companies I have referred to in this post. Just sharing my experience with all of you.

Hi Stacey; No, you posted the correct link. If people want to view some of the other flavors, they just have to click on the cans at http://www.tripett.com/Home.html. Also, Vega's ears look beautiful.

I ordered tripett from amazon. We will see if Luka likes it. Luka's weight holds steady at around 100-amazing your pups are half that already. I will have to look back at his records to see weight for him. I know he was 90 when he went to Dan. He eats between 6 to 8 cups of dry a day. He has a good appetite, but lamb tripe sounds like it would be good for him!
