Portia delivered this special litter on September 4th, 2016. She gave birth to 8 very healthy puppies. She had 5 males (2 black and rust, and 3 red), and 3 females (1 black and rust, and two red). All puppies are absolutely beautiful! We hope you enjoy the photos.

FOUR WEEKS OLD
We apologize about the following pictures. When these little ones hit four weeks old, they do not sit still long enough for a good pic. If you are one of the lucky few to have reserved a puppy from this awesome litter, please remember to log in to webcams and follow your puppy. They grow and change daily! It's so awesome to watch them try to walk...then all of the sudden they are running! When did this happen? Their eyes and ears are open. They now respond to voice and come running when its time to eat! Each one of these puppies are full of personality! Oh how we will miss them when they are gone!
FIVE WEEKS OLD
It's a lot of hard work when puppies reach this age! What goes in must come out...and a lot comes out! We do our best to show the amount of work that goes into raising a litter in our home. For those lucky families that are receiving a puppy from this litter, you get to see first hand how we feed, interact, and love these special babies. Every morning at 4:30, Holly and I begin the cleaning up the messes that the little ones make during the night. This morning Holly and I slept in two hours late...what a mistake! The puppy area was a wreck! I decided to take the cameras with me so people could see me power washing the enclosure...not great viewing, but this is something we do every week. Cleanliness is the most important part of raising healthy puppies. We also took the cameras in during bathing time. We had a few comments about how cute they were getting their bath. These little ones get bathed regularly. This helps do two things...first and foremost, it cleans them! But secondly, it teaches them that bathing is not something to hate, but something to expect. They are all very good about getting a bath. As always, we hope you enjoy the following pictures.
SIX WEEKS OLD
The pups had their six week immunizations on Thursday, so they got to go outside for the first time today! We positioned the webcams outside so they could be peeked in on while enjoying the beautiful Waco, Texas weather. The puppies all have names now! I still get them confused, so I am glad Holly is there to keep me straight! We hope you enjoy the video.
